85% high alumina brick is a neutral refractory material with an alumina content of around 85%. Made from raw materials with high alumina content, such as bauxite, through molding and calcination. High thermal stability, with a fire resistance of over 1770 degree . 85% high alumina bricks are also divided into universal high alumina bricks (i.e. T-shaped bricks), special-shaped high alumina bricks, and blast furnace bricks (i.e. G-shaped bricks).
According to different resource conditions and product requirements, 85% high alumina bricks can use the following types of raw materials: high alumina bauxite mainly composed of hydrated alumina minerals (such as monohydrate alumina, trihydrate alumina, etc.); Silurite group minerals (including kyanite, rhodochrosite, sillimanite, etc.); Artificially synthesized raw materials, such as industrial alumina, synthetic mullite, fused alumina, etc. China has abundant high alumina vanadium soil resources with good texture, mainly distributed in Shanxi, Henan, Hebei, Guizhou, Shandong and other places. The high alumina vanadium soil produced is mainly a mixture of two minerals, namely boehmite ( - Al2O3 · H2O) and kaolinite.
According to the difference in the content of Al2O3, high alumina bricks are commonly used with contents of 48%, 55%, 60%, 65%, 73%, 75%, 85%, and of course, those with higher contents are classified as corundum.
